Adam Nelson joined ProEquity Asset Management Corporation in September 2018, and since then, he has been an essential force in driving the firm’s private client asset management business. With over two decades of experience in office leasing and sales, Adam excels at helping clients identify, underwrite, and execute acquisition opportunities throughout California.

Adam’s illustrious career began in 1997 at the Downtown Sacramento office of CBRE. During his 15+ years at CBRE, his team consistently earned recognition both regionally and nationally as the premier office sales and leasing team. In 2013, Adam took his talents to The Buzz Oates Group of Companies, one of California’s largest family-owned real estate firms. As the First Vice President of Office Properties, he expertly managed lease negotiations and property dispositions for the company’s 1.7 million square foot office portfolio, earning accolades as Sacramento’s top office transaction specialist.

A proud alumnus of California State University, Chico, Adam holds a B.A. in Business Administration. He is a licensed real estate agent in California, a member of SIOR, and an active member and past president of the Association of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE). His commitment to community service is evident through his board-level participation in several non-profit organizations. Additionally, Adam is a distinguished member of The Sutter Club and Ranchero Vistadores.

Adam has spent his entire life in Northern California, fostering deep-rooted connections within the region. He currently resides in Sacramento with his wife and two young children. Outside the office, Adam enjoys exploring the vibrant local culture and scenic landscapes of Northern California with his family. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a community event, Adam’s passion for his home region shines through.
