As Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner, Jeff Fanzo leads the firm’s Phoenix office and is one of three principals steering ProEquity’s expansion across the United States. In his dynamic role, Jeff is deeply involved in managing company operations, spearheading new business development, and sourcing acquisition opportunities for the firm’s investment strategies. His extensive background in real estate development and the management of distressed properties is pivotal in delivering value for clients and fostering company growth.
Jeff joined ProEquity in 2015, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous position as Director of Real Estate for Trigild, a receivership and fiduciary organization. At Trigild, he managed over 5 million square feet of assets, including major office, multifamily, hotel, and retail properties nationwide. Notably, Jeff oversaw a 38-property portfolio across eight states during a bankruptcy period, serving as the senior leader of the commercial operations team, asset manager, and agent of the receiver. His adept management and strategic relationships with brokers and national tenants were instrumental in stabilizing the portfolio, culminating in a successful disposition at a sale price 28% above the anticipated value by the special servicer.
Jeff’s career also includes significant roles as a project manager and superintendent at J.F. Shea Co. and MDC Holdings, where he gained invaluable expertise in commercial, residential, and land development. He leverages this extensive knowledge to enhance ProEquity’s Value Add and Development platform, driving forward the firm’s growth initiatives.
A graduate of Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business, Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree. His professional credentials include real estate licenses in Arizona, and he is a Licensed Commercial and Residential Contractor (KB-1). Additionally, Jeff is a Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) with the American Institute of Constructors and holds certifications in Energy Star, Storm Water Compliance, and OSHA 10.

His proactive approach and leadership ensure that the firm operates efficiently and effectively, meeting and exceeding client expectations.
