As Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer, and head of our San Francisco office, Tyler Sheldon is a key driver in the acquisition, underwriting, and funding of ProEquity’s owned assets. With over 15 years of active management in investment and development properties, Tyler’s expertise spans brokerage and investment transactions valued at over $400 million. He has successfully managed over 3.5 million square feet of commercial properties in California and Nevada, showcasing his extensive experience and strategic acumen.

Tyler is instrumental in sourcing new business opportunities and managing commercial properties, developing strategies that enhance the value of each asset. His comprehensive approach covers all aspects of property management and operations, ensuring optimal performance and growth.

Tyler’s diverse real estate background includes roles as an owner/operator, developer, and broker. As Vice President of Asset Services with Kidder Mathews and Voit Real Estate Services, he was pivotal in building and expanding the Asset Services platform in Northern California, serving a wide array of private, institutional, bank, and special servicer clients. His tenure at Union Property Capital saw him focus on acquisitions, financial analysis, and asset and project management, where he contributed to the development of value-add projects in the San Francisco Bay Area through institutional fund vehicles.

A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Tyler holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CCIM), reflecting his commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
