Jeffrey Fanzo is responsible for leading the company’s management and acquisition business throughout the Southwest and Mid Atlantic Region. He is responsible for a number of the company’s key relationships including Special Servicers, Equity Partners, Debt Firms and a vast national Brokerage network. Jeff leverages his extensive background in real estate development and distressed real estate to lead the continued growth of the company.
Prior to joining ProEquity, Jeffrey was Director of Real Estate for Trigild, which is a Receivership and Fiduciary organization in Southern California. During his tenure, he managed over 5 million sf of assets, including large-scale office, multi-family housing, hotels, and retail across the nation. He oversaw a 38-property portfolio in 8 different states that was part of a bankruptcy. His relationships with brokers and national tenants helped stabilize the portfolio and lead to a successful disposition at a sale price 28% above the anticipated price of the Servicer. He acted as Senior Leader of the Commercial Operations team, Asset Manager, and Agent of the Receiver. With substantial impact on Trigild’s success, Jeff held leading fiduciary roles in Trigild’s third party business, which included brokerage, dispositions, property management, construction management and process improvement.
Jeffrey also held multiple development roles at J.F. Shea Co. and MDC Holdings where he gained expertise in commercial, residential and land development. During those tenures, he worked in several challenging disciplines with Forrest Conservations groups, Historical Societies, entitlements, and vertical construction. He utilizes his wealth of knowledge in these fields to help grow ProEquity’s Value Add and Development platform.
Jeffrey received his Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University W.P. Carey School of Business, and holds real estate licenses in Arizona and Nevada. He is a Licensed Commercial and Residential Contractor (KB-1), and he is a Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) with the American Institute of Constructors. He is certified in Energy Star, Storm Water Compliance, and holds OSHA 10 Certifications. He is also a member of ULI Young Leaders, IREM, NAIOP and the Arizona Builders Alliance.
