As the Chief Financial Officer and Managing Partner, Brett is one of four principals in charge of the continued growth across the US. Brett also actively participates in the company’s operations, business development efforts. Additionally, he participates in sourcing acquisition opportunities and is part of execution of investment strategies.
As a seasoned commercial real estate professional, Brett has experience across multiple asset classes in markets that span the United States. Prior to joining ProEquity, Brett was a Senior Vice President at LNR Property LLC where he developed and executed property strategies for value-add office, retail, multifamily, industrial, self-storage and hospitality assets, totaling over 20 million square feet and $3 billion across 30 states.
Brett has also held positions at Forest City Commercial Development, Divergent Resources, and Plains Capital Bank where he focused on acquisitions, development, capital markets, and cultivating strategic relationships.
Brett received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Brett has three young children and also contributes to Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Andy Roddick Foundation, and Mobile Loaves and Fishes.
